Car Renting Terms

Reservation Cancellation Policy: Full refund if you cancel at 7 days before. Reservations cancelled within 7 days to 48 hours of the start of the rental will be charged a fee equal to 30% of the deposit amount. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of the start of the rental will be charged a fee equal to the deposit amount.

Driver's age: For categories A, B, C drivers must be over 25 years of age. For any other vehicle group the minimum age of the driver must be 27.

Payment method: For all categories the renter must present an acceptable by Notos credit card to cover the amounts related to the guarantee, the advance payment and the settlement of final rental charges.

Driving license: The driver must hold a valid driving license for at least a year.

Grace period: At the end of the agreed rental period, Notos allows a grace period of 30 minutes free of charge after which the renter will be charged with a minimum of one full day rental.

Fines and violations: All fines and administrative penalties resulting from the driver's conduct shall be borne by the renter.

Insurance: All authorized drivers of Notos vehicles are covered against damages to the rented vehicle.

Collision damage waiver (CDW ): The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle can be reduced, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated, to a minimum charge of €300 CDW  for categories A, B, €550 for categoriesC, C, D, E, €850 for categories F,G by paying €10, €14, €15 per day respectively.

Theft protection (TP): Theft protection is in the CDW package.

Driver's accident coverage: It is offered and it covers: Compensation in the event of death, Total / partial permanent disablement

Incident administration fee: In case of an accident due to the renter's liability, the renter has the obligation to pay a fee of €15. This fee is non refundable.

Additional driver/s: A charge of 3.00 € per day has to be paid for each additional driver.

Charge for delivery and collection from the airport: Charges are applied in the non working hours of the store.

Fuel policy: Upon collecting the vehicle from Notos, the fuel is recorded and if it is found to be less than upon delivery, a Refueling Service Charges will be applied.

Refueling service charge: 10€

Baby seats: Available on request with a daily charge .

Navigator-gps: Available on request with a daily charge .

Fleet availability: The company reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved.

Collection-delivery: Every collection and delivery within the store's working hours is free of charge.

Across the border rentals: Allowed only with the prior written agreement with Notos.

Ferry restrictions: Except Antiparos Allowed only with prior written agreement with Notos. Any damage caused to the rented vehicle during the transit will not be covered by any insurance.
